I knew that Alaska was going to be a land of epic proportions. Even the simple act of driving there was a monumental task. No matter how much planning and research I did, nothing could prepare me for the scale of the wilderness and grit of its inhabitants.
During the longest days of the year, I spent several weeks touring the last frontier by foot, bicycle, car and boat. All the while documenting the culture and experiences that make Alaska unique. By the end of the trip, I was exhilarated and exhausted in all the best ways.
