I strongly believe in the healing powers of nature I strongly believe in the healing powers of nature and lord knows we’re going to need some good medicine in the coming months. Nature has been proven to lower blood pressure and improve mental health which will be invaluable in the coming months. However, please keep in mind it’s crucial to avoid popular and potentially crowded trails during the pandemic. I urge everyone to scrutinize their hiking choices, go to lesser known areas and go at off peak hours. In other words, if you leave the house be smart about it and let’s take care of each other. #hikeresponsibly
Thanks to everyone who has checked in this week an Thanks to everyone who has checked in this week and asked how my wife and I are doing. We’re very much alive and social-distanced out here in the Sonoran Desert with a small group of nomadic friends and a boat load of Costco provisions. :: Many of you know that working remotely and wild camping has been our norm for some time, but even still we feel the collective anxiety and ominous tone that’s gripping the nation. For now we’re just taking it a day at a time but we’re thankful to have our health and some friends out here to weather the storm with. :: Wishing you all the best of health and safety wherever you’re hunkered down. ❤️
If you know me then you know roads are my favorite If you know me then you know roads are my favorite metaphor. I take comfort in knowing that every situation relates back to a proverbial journey. This dark place we’re in now, it’s very surreal, ominous and downright scary. With every journey there’s struggle but there’s also opportunity for tremendous growth and transformation. Let’s face it, humans can be absolute shit heads, but we’re also capable of great strength, unity and compassion. If we each do our part to stay safe and help each other move a little further down the road, then no doubt there will be brighter days on the horizon. :: My sincere gratitude goes to all the medical professionals who will be on the front lines of this pandemic. You are the absolute heroes of this journey. :: Oh, and maybe let’s learn from this experience and not go down the same f*ing road again!
